Pion charge-exchange reaction and transition densities to isobaric analog states

Description
Distorted waves impulse approximation calculations were performed for the (π+, π0) reaction to isobaric analog resonances in a series of nuclei employing two types of transition densities. The calculationsare sensitive to the types of transition densities used, giving substantially different cross sections in the two cases.
