Design and construction of a channeling and blocking measurement station at the cyclotron of the university of Bonn for nuclear lifetime measurement in the time range 10-15 to 10-19sec
Description
For channeling and blocking experiments at the Bonn Isochronous Cyclotron the electronics and the computer interface for a two-dimensional position sensitive detector were developed and constructed. The X-Y-detector is a 'checkerboard counter' BPY 75-300 (Philips). Parts of the electronics are layed out in ECL II technique. Data transmission from the scattering chamber to the experiment electronics and to the computer uses a fast serial transmission systems with only three pairs of coax cable. (orig.)

Fuer Channeling- und Blockingexperimente am Bonner Isochron-Zyklotron wurden die Elektronik und das Computer-Interface fuer einen zweidimensionalen ortsempfindlichen Detektor entwickelt und gebaut. Der X-Y-Detektor ist ein sogenannter Schachbrett-Detektor BPY 75-300 (Philips). Ein Teil der Elektronik wird in ECL-II Technik ausgefuehrt. Die Datenuebertragung von der Streukammer zu der Elektronik des Experiments und zum Computer benutzt ein schnelles serielles Datenuebertragungssystem mit nur drei Paaren von Koaxialkabeln. (orig.)
