Mayak. Source of information on radiation risks

Description
Mayak is a nuclear weapon factory in the south-east of the Ural in the Russian Federation where many people (workers and population) have been exposed to ionizing radiation. The data on the consequences of that exposure now can give insight into the effects of low radiation doses. Although the study on the effects has started, for financial reasons it is not sure if the study can be completed. 7 refs. study can be completed. 7 refs
