Specific features of the 0.4 MeV EhVRUS electron accelerator
Description
Particular features of a 0.4 MeV electron accelerator EVRUS-0.4 for use in radiation chemistry are described. The magnetic separator and scanning device with an amplitude-modulated sawtooth deflection field enable: to increase the beam outlet factor into atmosphere up to 0.5; to elongate the scanning zone up to 1 m within the current density uniformity of +-10%; to increase the accelerator reliability; to widen the accelerator scope of application
