Influence of ionizing radiation on α- and β- adrenoceptors of lymphocytes and thrombocytes

Description
Kinetic characteristics of α- and β-adrenoceptors interaction in membrane of lymphocytes and thrombocytes in rabbit's blood at normal conditions and dynamically after irradiation were investigated. Immediately after a single total irradiation the level of lymphocytes α-adrenoceptors had a tendency to increase steadily and even in 20 days it was not appropriate to norm, but β- adrenoceptors sharply decreased in these cells. As for thrombocytes cells the relation under investigation appeared to be somehow different. In all cells the affinity of ligands to receptors sharply decreased after irradiation.(author). 8 refs.,2 figs
