The generalized non-abelian Toda lattice
Description
We construct a Backlund transformation and inverse scattering form for the generalized nonabelian Toda lattice. We investigate the continuum limit and we show that our model, in this limit, is equivalent to the self-dual sector of the three dimensional SU N Yang-Mills field theory. (orig.)
