The Tohkai nuclear power station
Description
The reactor building of Tohkai Nuclear Power Station is a complicated structure composed of complex reinforced concrete mass system and superimposed steel frame. Other facilities within the building include shield wall, vessel, core, etc. Since the vibration behaviours of these items are varied, the total system may be adequately reduced to a simulated model, being divided into the major components of building, shielded wall, vessel and core and then subjected to analysis.
