IAEA TCM on tokamak plasma biasing (Montreal, September 8-10, 1992)
Description
An IAEA Technical Committee Meeting on Tokamak Plasma Biasing was hosted by the Centre Canadien de Fusino Magnetique. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together for the first time physicists from the 30 or so laboratories involved in plasma biasing experiments or modelling, and discuss current results. This summary reports on a selection of observations presented at the meeting pertaining to the contribution of biasing to confinement studies, edge physics and plasma contamination. (author)
