The effect of Adeturon on mouse oocyte survival to gamma irradiation

Description
The protective effect of Adeturon (S-2-aminoehylisothiuronic adenosine-5-triphosphate) in dose of 300 mg/kg b.w. at acute gamma irradiation (12,9 mC/kg) is studied using mouse oocyte survival as a test system. A significant toxicity of the agent was observed changing in different follicle stages. It was found not only a full absent of radioprotective effect on the oocytes, but an increase in the radiation damage as well. 1 tab., 21 refs
