Radiosensitizing effect of hyperthermia on the mouse skin in relation to temperature and irradiation time

Description
The dependence of radiosensitizing effect of hyperthermia on the white mice-males skin in relation to different temperatures on condunction succession with ionizing radiation and interval between two agents action is studied. The values of the dose variation factor (DVF) for temperatures from 43 to 45 deg C and effect duration calculated on the base of dose-effect curves are presented. It is shown that the duration of the period of skin radiosensitization for account of heating has been observed at DVF equal approximately 1.5 during 4-5 h, at 1.7 during 6 h, at 2.1 - it constituted more than 8 hours
