Description
The fuel handling plant at Torness power station has been functioning since 1989 under operational constraints due to perceived shortfalls in the as-built equipment. This has limited the achievable station load factor. This Paper describes the nature of these shortfalls, and the work to rectify them which is currently nearing completion. (author)
