Investigation of diffusion processes at the GeTe-(Bi,Sb)2Te3 boundary
Description
The effect of diffusion on the formation of intermediate phases in the GeTe-(Bi, Sb)2Te3 system has been studied. The investigations were carried out using two-layer cermet specimens by the method of measuring thermal e.m.f. and the method of X-ray microspectral analysis. It was revealed that intermediate phases existing in the quasiternary GeTe-Bi2Te3-Sb2Te3 system were formed during the reactive diffusion in the near-contact area between GeTe and Sbsub(1.5)Bisub(0.5)Tesub(3). The equations of the dependences of the general reactive diffusion coefficient and also of the ''electroactive'' diffusion one on temperature have been obtained
