Description
A miniature X-ray tube is tested in place of a conventional radioisotope source. The test is made for the resistive plastic tube counter whose cathode induced signals are utilized for position measurement. The optimum resolution of 0.17 mm is obtained by collimated X-rays. This result is promising for designing a precision luminosity monitor of the AMY detector at TRISTAN, KEK. (orig.)
