Polarization in the inelastic scattering of 185 MeV protons from 27Al

Description
The polarization of 185 MeV protons in the excitation of the states at 2.21 and 2.98 MeV in 27Al has been measured in the angular region 7.50-400. The results are found to be rather similar to those obtained for low-lying collective 2+ levels in even-even nuclei. (Auth.)
