The current report focuses on innovative approaches in the energy sector, presenting the concept of 'prosumers' and the use of solar energy for charging electric vehicles in Bulgaria. It examines the active role of prosumers in generating energy through solar panels and their contribution to energy efficiency and reduction of carbon emissions. The report analyzes the advantages, challenges, and opportunities for the development of such practices in Bulgaria and offers recommendations for promoting these innovations. It profiles prosumers in the energy sector, discusses key aspects and consequences of their participation in the energy market in Bulgaria. Additionally, it explores technological innovations such as smart buildings and artificial intelligence in the context of the energy sector and the challenges associated with their integration and management.
