X-ray diffraction study of electronic structure and hydrogen atom localization in HfTi2Hx hydrides

Description
One investigated into the spectral characteristics of TiΚβ5-spectra and the electron structure of HfTi2Hx hydrides (x = 0, 0.5, 3.0, 4.0, 4.5, 5.95). One determined localization of H atoms and calculated the degree of population by hydrogen atoms of e- and g-positions. One makes a conclusion that at hydrogen low concentrations (up to x = 3.0) just e-positions are being populated (it is supported by the crystallographic experiments as well), and with increase of hydrogen concentration both e- and g-positions are being populated
Abstract (Russian)
Изучены спектральные характеристики TiΚβ5-спектров и электронная структура гидридов HfTi2Hx (x = 0, 0.5, 3.0, 4.0, 4.5, 5.95). Определена локализация атомов Н, а также рассчитана степень заселенности атомами водорода e- и g-позиций. Сделан вывод, что при малых концентрациях водорода (вплоть до x = 3.0) происходит заселение только e-позиций (это подтверждается и кристаллографическими экспериментами), а с ростом концентрации водорода происходит заселение не только e-, но и g-позицийAdditional details
