Effect of plastic deformation under hydrostatic pressure on luminescence and structure of CsI(Tl)
Description
Hydrostatic pressure of 0.3 GPa (at temperature 510 K) is necessary and enough for preparation of high-quality polycrystalline scintillators from CsI(Tl) single crystals by pressing method; this regime provides the best light centres to capture centres amounts ratio
