Coordination of heterovalent iron atoms in SrCo1-yFeyO3-z solid solutions

Description
Superfine interactions on 57Fe nuclei of solid solutions featuring composition SrCo1-yFeyO3-z (0.2≤y≤0.8) were studied by the method of the Moessbauer spectroscopy. Spectra of 57Fe measured at 300 K are superposition of two quadrupole doublets, which in terms of their parameters correspond to high-spin Fe4+ cations in anionic surrounding with coordination number 5 (tetragonal pyramid) and Fe3+ cations in a distorted octahedral surrounding. Comparative analysis of electron exchange constants for solid solutions prepared using the method of the Moessbauer spectroscopy and on the basis of thermodynamic calculations was conducted. Correlation between oxygen permittivity in the perovskites and their composition and structure was established

Методом мессбауэровской спектроскопии исследованы сверхтонкие взаимодействия на ядрах 57Fe твердых растворов состава SrCo1-yFeyO3-z (0,2≤y≤0,8). Спектры 57Fe, измеренные при 300 К, представляют собой суперпозицию двух квадрупольных дублетов, которые по своим параметрам соответствуют высокоспиновым катионам Fe4+ в анионном окружении с координационным числом 5 (тетрагональная пирамида) и катионам Fe3+ в искаженном октаэдрическом окружении. Проведен сравнительный анализ констант электронного обмена твердых растворов, полученных с использованием метода мессбауэровской спектроскопии и на основе термодинамических расчетов.
