Description

Structural and magnetic properties of LaKMn1-xFexMoO6 (0≤x≤0.2) double perovskite oxides have been investigated. Powder samples have been elaborated using the conventional solid-state reaction at 1100 C. Structural studies at room temperature show that all our samples are single phase and crystallize in the orthorhombic structure with P222 space group. Magnetization measurements showed that our synthesized samples exhibit a paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition with decreasing temperature. With increasing Fe content, the Curie temperature TC decreases, it is found to decrease from 180 K for x=0 to 110 K for x=0.2. Fe doping induces also a decrease of the spontaneous magnetization Msp.
