Temperature behaviour of the quantum size effect-induced energy shift of the A(n=1) exciton in WSe2 layered crystals
- 1. Chernovitskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
The paper is concerned with experimental and theoretical study of exciton absorption spectra of WSe2 thin crystalline layers in a wide temperature range from 4.2 to 300 K. Within all investigated temperature range in WSe2 thin sample optical absorption spectra an explicit exciton band corresponding to n=1 state is observed. It is shown that detected exciton basic state shift depends both on crystal thickness and the temperature
