Description
An overview is given of phenomena which are missing in the geochemical models, or which are not completely treated in the models. On one hand, phenomena can be distinguished, for which modelling concepts exist such as adsorption/desorption and, on the other hand, phenomena for which modelling concepts do not exist for the moment such as colloids and complexation by polyelectrolyte solutions (organics). The main directions needed for evolution of geochemical modelling are stressed. (orig./BBR)
