Description

A method is put forward for optimizing the man-machine interaction in direct digital control systems in NPPs. The method can be used during operation, and also to produce man-machine control systems for NPPs with optimum interaction and division of functions between the human operator and the control system. The main factors in optimizing the operation of NPPs are quality and accuracy of control in both dynamic and steady state regimes, reliable functioning of systems, and adaptation of the actions of the co-ordinating link to control aims. When regulating parameters, the human operator in an NPP by virtue of his natural adaptivity comes to a compromise between exact regulation and expenditure on control. In the light of the above, a criterion for optimum systems functioning is put forward. We propose the use of mimic systems to optimize control in line with this criterion since these systems permit a comprehensive solution to problems and reproduce natural operating conditions.
