Verification of the core mechanics code SANDRA
Description
Results of verification of the code SANDRA for LMFBR core distortion analysis are presented. For the verification, problems specified for the IAEA Co-ordinated Research Programme on Intercomparison of LMFBR Core Mechanics Codes were applied. Possible errors resulting from the use of two-dimensional bowing model are discussed. Short information concerning a new three-dimensional LMFBR core mechanics code is also included.
