Structure of the TDHF-manifold - Perspective of the self-consistent collective coordinate method

  • 1. Tokyo Univ., Tanashi (Japan). Inst. for Nuclear Study
  • 2. Science Univ. of Tokyo (Japan)

Description

Present status of the self-consistent collective coordinate method developed for describing the large-amplitude collective motion is discussed together with its perspectives. An importance of applying various ideas developed in the nonlinear physics to the nuclear physics is stressed. Some important theoretical problem related to a practical method called diabatic recipe for defining the diabatic potential energy surface is discussed. (author). 19 refs., 4 figs
