Reunion Island - Renewable Energy Potential. CIVIS Territory - Phase 5 - preliminary document for dialogue and orientation for programming on the short, medium and long term of the pro-active scenario selected in phase 4 by the CIVIS steering committee

This document aims at presenting an overview of the CIVIS solar community project which started in 2007, and at providing a perspective on its possible evolution. The first chapter presents the background and foundation of the CIVIS project. The second one presents the CIVIS Solar Community project, its status after two years of actions, its articulation with regional, national and international programs. It outlines some successful actions which already have been implemented, notably the elaboration of a territorial climate energy plan (PCET). The third chapter discusses the conclusions of phases 1 to 4 of the study of the potential of renewable energies of the CIVIS territory, and presents the different scenarios. The fourth chapter identifies currently adopted or envisaged actions which aims at successfully implementing the pro-active scenario defined in phase 5
