DETERMINATION OF THE RELIABILITY FUNCTION OF THE REDUNDANT ELEMENT OF ELECTRIC POWER OBJECT
Description
From the standpoint of reliability theory, four basic states of the element of electric power object, which it changes to during its lifetime, can be distinguished: the operating state, being in unloaded reserve, the state of preventive maintenance or scheduled repair, and the emergency state. Considering the reliability indices of the system element with recovery, they usually consider the operating time and the recovery time. However, in practice, there often occur the cases when, after a failure of the system (or its element), some time passes till the beginning of repair (time for revealing the damage, time for organizing the repair, delivery of spare parts, etc.). The total idle time is called the waiting time. In this work, based on Markovian processes, the reliability factors of redundant element of electric power object are considered with account for the waiting time. (author)
