Description

The 'stress corrosion-corrosion fatigue' commission of the French anti-corrosion centre (Cefracor) organises every two year a young researchers' meeting days where PhD students can present their works to experts of hydrogen/materials and corrosion/deformation interactions. This book provides a synthesis of the works presented during the 2013 issue of the meeting and gives an overview of the French research works carried out in France on these topics. Content: 1 - Stress corrosion sensitivity of two-phase brass for the design of an accelerated test for gas fittings; 2 - Gaseous hydrogen-assisted fatigue crack propagation: experimental and numerical approaches; 3 - Mechanical tests under gaseous hydrogen; 4 - Study of stress corrosion initiation of welded nickel-base alloys: influence of microstructure parameters; 5 - Stress corrosion modeling of austenitic stainless steels in PWR primary environment; 6 - Modeling of the stress/hydrogen diffusion coupling in an elasto-plastic material with trapping effect; 7 - characterization and modeling of intergranular stress corrosion behaviour of 2050 alloy FSW weld nuggets; 8 - Study of the thermal/diffusion/mechanical behaviour of an elastomer using the vibrating wire technique; 9 - Aqueous corrosion impact on the fatigue lifetime of a martensitic stainless steel in high cycle regime; 10 - High-pressure gaseous hydrogen influence on the fatigue properties of a Cr-Mo steel
