Removing gauge degrees of freedom in the extended Hamiltonian formalism
- 1. Tbilisskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Tbilisi (USSR)
Description
A method is presented for constructing generators of gauge transformations in phase space for a given singular lagrangian. Necessary and sufficient conditions on gauge functions are formulated on the basis of these generators. The results obtained are analyzed with the help of concrete examples
