Procedure for liquidation of Chernobyl NPP accident aftereffects

Description
Safe, technically feasible and economically substantiated method for liquidation of the environmental contamination center at the Chernobyl NPP (the Cover object) is proposed. The essence of the method consists in removing fuel and fuel-containing mass from the object for reprocessing, the subsequent removal of the remained radioactive materials, dismantling the Cover object and its radioactive fragments reprocessing and delivering the reprocessed substances, materials and items to the radioactive wastes storages. Their storage is assumed to be controlled. 3 refs
