Description
Static and dynamic characteristics of 211Pb and 223Ra sorption from aqueous-organic HCl solutions on Dowex-50x8 cation exchanger were studied in relation to the content and kind of organic solvent (alcohols, acetone, acetonitrile) and acid concentration in solution. Ra distribution factors increase and those of Pb, on the contrary, decrease with increasing content of nonaqueous solvent in HCl solutions. The best separation of Pb from Ra is attained with HCl solutions containing acetonitrile or methanol as eluents. 223Ra can be used as starting radionuclide for multiple preparation of short-lived 211Pb in a radioisotope generator using a cation exchanger and aqueous-organic HCl solutions

Определены статические и динамические характеристики сорбции 211Pb и 223Ra на катионите Dowex-50x8 из водно-органических растворов HCl в зависимости от содержания и природы растворителя (спирты, ацетон, ацетонитрил) и концентрации кислоты в растворе. Показано, что коэффициенты распределения Ra увеличиваются, а Pb, напротив, уменьшаются с увеличением содержания неводной компоненты в солянокислых растворах. Наилучшее отделение Pb от Ra достигается при использовании в качестве элюентов растворов HCl, содержащих ацетонитрил, ацетон или метанол. Показана возможность применения 223Ra в качестве стартового радионуклида для многократного получения короткоживущего изотопа 211Pb по принципу работы радиоизотопного генератора на основе катионита и водно-органических растворов HClAdditional details
