Which future for CO2 capture and sequestration? BIP-Enerpresse debate, May 12, 2009
Creators
Description
This paper is a synthesis of a debate between representatives of different actors of the gas and energy technology (GDF, Alstom Power, Total) on the future possible capacities of development of the CO2 capture and sequestration technology as a powerful means against climatic change. The interveners are giving an overview of the underground storage potential, of the capture technologies, of the various capture locations and possibilities (notably on oil or metal industry and power plant sites), of the already existing experimentations, and of the involved costs
