Comment on the solution of one-dimensional Schroedinger equations

Description

The equivalence of a recently proposed continued-fraction solution of one-dimensional Schroedinger equations to a series is exploited to display explicitly the convergence behavior of the solution. For certain physically interesting potentials, a simple alternative method is presented which complements the continued-fraction solution sufficiently far from the origin
