Eco information 9. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost, a.s., on the environment, locality of Bohunice, within September 2020

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP, Interim Spent Fuel Storage (MSVP), Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VK808 - BSC), The Main Production Unit (VK 46A - HVB) and Bitumenation Lines (VK 46B - BL) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - September 2020 (for NPP V1, MSVP, BSC, HVB and BL, respectively) were: 31.714 MBq (0.03964% of AL) for V1, 0.138 MBq (0.046% of AL) for MSVP, 0.137 MBq (0.097% of AL) for BSC, 0.852 MBq (0.129% of AL) for HVB and 0.063 MBq (0.045% of AL) for BL of aero-soles. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a September 2020 for NPP V1, MSVP, and VK 808 BSC, respectively, were: 3.542 MBq (V1), 0.016 MBq (VK MSVP), 0.017 MBq (VK 808 BSC), 0.109 MBq (VK 46A) and 0.004 MBq (VK 46B) of aero-soles into atmosphere; 0.789 MBq (V1 and MSVP) and 1.872 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) of corrosive and fission products, and 0.583 GBq (V1 and MSVP) and 7.670 GBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) of tritium into the Vah River and 0.000 GBq (V1 and MSVP) and 0.000 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) of corrosive and fission products and 0.000 GBq of tritium (V1) and 0.000 GBq of tritium (TSU RAO and NPP A1) into the Dudvah River). For the period January - September 2020 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 10.531 MBq (0.0810% of AL for V1 and MSVP) and 13.337 MBq (0.111% of AL for TSU RAO and NPP A1); and for tritium it is 6.402 GBq (0.32008% of AL) for V1 and MSVP, and 95.327 GBq (0.953% of AL) for TSU RAO and NPP A1 (into the Vah River) and for corrosive and fission products 0.000 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) and 0.000 MBq (TSU RAO and NPP A1) (0.0000% of AL) of tritium (into the Dudvah River). Chemical effluents are reported, too.
