Thermal hydraulic analysis of the VVER-440/213 downcomer in the event of a secondary circuit loss of coolant accident

Description

The accident analyzed comprised main steam header rupture with ESFAS intervention in the 10th second and failure of all quick-acting valves and main steam closure to shut. The two-dimensional module of the CATHARE 2 v. 1.3 code was applied to the downcomer calculations. (P.A.)
