Reflection of an ''isothermal'' shock wave from a rigid wall
Description
A solution for an ''isothermal'' plane and discontinuity wave reflected from a rigid wall is given. The ''isothermal'' wave is characterized in discontinuity by an arbitrary large increase of the density, dependent on external pressure. In the case of concentric compression the density is characterized by a certain peculiar feature. The solutions of this type are interesting from the point of view of laser methods of plasma compression for the purposes of thermonuclear microfusion. (author)
