Description
We derive the equation that governs the Wigner function of spinless bosons in a classical electromagnetic field. It describes a relativistic gas of positively and negatively charged particles with quantum corrections due to interferences that cause pair creation. in homogeneous fields, the Schwinger term is recovered.
