Polarographic determination of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) in natural waters
- 1. All-Union Water Protection Research Institute, Kharkov, USSR
Description
Meteorological characteristics have been compared for the Cr(III) and Cr(VI) waves in various forms of polarography, and it has been shown that only difference chronoamperometry is suitable for the direct determination of Cr(VI) at the MPC level, while catalytic currents can be used in any form of polarography to determine Cr(III). The proposed methods enable one to determine Cr(III) in the presence of a considerable excess of Cr(VI) and vice versa
