Infrared and far-infrared surface electromagnetic waves on steel surface
- 1. AN Litovskoj SSR, Vilnius (USSR). Inst. Fiziki
Description
Infrared and far-infrared electromagnetic waves (SEW) attenuation on steel surface has been investigated. Strong anisotropy of SEW attenuation in IR conditioned by the surface treatment techniques has been detected. The peculiarities of the experimental investigation of SEW propagation in far-IR have been determined. The calculated from IR and far-IR measurements frequency of steel electrons collision proved to be greater by a factor of four as compared with iron due to electrons scattering by impurity atoms
