Generation of white light emission through cascaded energy transfer in a biological template
- 1. Radiation and Photochemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)
Description
A nucleic acid template has been used for the generation of the white light emission by incorporating three dyes in the DNA molecules. The cascaded resonance energy transfer process has been used for the generation of the white light emission. The colour of the emitted light has been modulated by external stimuli like salt and temperature. (author)
