The quality control of 99mTc-MIBI complex (code Z-3) produced by Department of Nuclear Medicine in Lodz

Description
The aim of the study was to check of value of 99mTc-MIBI complex, produced by Department of Nuclear Medicine in Lodz. The quality control was performed immediately after labeling procedure was finish (T0) and consecutively 4 (T4) and 5 (T5) hours later. It was stated that the preparation of the complex is simple, with high labeling efficiency. Four hours after preparation the complex was still homogenous. At this time free pertechnetate increased significantly in comparison with the value at T0 but it did not exceed 3% of the total activity. On the other hand the content of reduced technetium did not change significantly as compared to the initial value. At T5 concentration of both free pertechnetate and reduced technetium was significantly higher and the complex became unhomogeneous. (author). 18 refs, 2 figs, 3 tabs
