Information about environmental effects of Bohunice NPPs V-1 and V-2 within June 2003

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V-1 and V-2 NPPs are presented. The radioactive effluents within a June 2003 (for NPP V-1 and NPP V-2, respectively) were: 0.622 TBq and 071106 TBq of rare gases, 1.953 MBq and 0.845 MBq of aero-soles, 1.949 MBq and 0.227 MBq of iodine, 1.585 MBq and 3.289 MBq of corrosive and fission products, and 0.910 TBq and 0.175 TBq of tritium. For the period January - June 2003 these radioactive effluents represent for rare gases 4.038 TBq for NPP V-1 and 4.290 TBq for NPP V-2 (8.328 TBq (0.208% of annually limit (AL) for the locality Bohunice)), for aerosols 75.823 MBq for NPP V-1 and 3.343 MBq for NPP V-2 (79.166 MBq (0.049% of AL for the locality Bohunice)), for corrosive and fission products 27.533 MBq for NPP V-1 and 13.904 MBq for NPP V-2 (41.437 MBq (0.11% of AL) for the locality Bohunice)), and for iodine 237.655 MBq for NPP V-1 and 1.269 MBq for NPP V-2 (238.924 MBq (0.184% of AL) for the locality Bohunice)), and for tritium it is 4.152 TBq for NPP V-1 and 3.547 TBq for NPP V-2 (7.698 TBq (17.62% of AL) for the locality Bohunice)
