Radiography of the skull. What is the best orientation to use?

Description

The skull is a difficult region to X-ray because of its complex anatomy. Radiographs can be taken from numerous angles. This article presents firstly, the principle projections used to take X-rays of the skull, as well as the radiographic images that they produce. Secondly, the author(s) give advice on the choice of which orientation to use when examining different parts of the skull
