Investigation of Mn-ferrite films produced by pulsed laser deposition
Description
Polycrystalline films of manganese ferrites have been produced by pulsed-laser deposition from a MnFe2O4 target onto glass substrates at temperatures of 200-550 deg. C. Sem and energy dispersive X-ray analysis indicate that the films maintain stoichiometry. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the average grain size of the films decreases appreciably with decreasing substrate temperature. Moessbauer spectroscopy studies at 25 K are used to investigate hyperfine interaction and magnetic structure of the films
