Analysis of boundaries of helium stable flow motion at supercritical parameters in heated channels

Description

Results of analytical investigation into the stability of helium flow in the case of supercritical pressure, are given. The general equation of the stability analysis obtained in the analytical form which determines the total diagram of flow regimes is presented. The dependence of the stability boundary on the relation of pressure drops at the inlet and outlet throttles and degree of flow expansion is established. The presence of instability regions is found. The comparison of calculation and experimental stability boundaries for helium in the case of supercritical pressure is performed
