Description

The digital regulator of power supply based on FPGA is described in detail. Firstly, the hardware modules design of it is introduced, especially, the operation principle of AD7634 which is used for sampling output current of power supply with high speed and high precision is mainly presented, and the voltage waveforms that AD7634 sampled is given at the same time. Secondly, the software design of the digital regulator is described, including regulator algorithm and function, and also the method of how to realize the algorithm with FPGA is given. Finally, the closed loop control is carried out with a 15 A/15 V rectification magnet power supply as a prototype, and measurement results are given, too. (authors)
