Investigations into the crystal structure and magnetic structure of distorted perovskites with neutron diffraction
Description
The atomic parameters of the crystal structures of the compounds Sr2NiTeO6 and Sr2NiWO6 which cristallize in distorted perovskite type, were improved from neutron diffraction data. The magnetic structure of the Sr2NiTeO6 is explained at 4.2 K by an antiferromagnetic collinear model and that of the Sr2NiWO6 by an antiferromagnetic non collinear model. Neel temperatures and magnetic moments are determined for these substances. The system Sr2(FeMosub(x)Wsub(1-x))O6 indicates two magnetic structures which exist next to each other in the phase region 0 < x < 0.3: 1) an antiferromagnetic one as for the corner component Sr2FeWO6 and 2) a fine magnetic structure such as for Sr2FeMoO6. The ferrimagnetic structure and the magnetic moment were determined for x = 0.3. (orig./LH)

Die Atomparameter der Kristallstrukturen der Verbindungen Sr2NiTeO6 und Sr2NiWO6, die im verzerrten Perowskit-Typ kristallisieren, werden aus Neutronenbeugungsdaten verfeinert. Die magnetische Struktur des Sr2NiTeO6 wird bei 4,2 K mit einem antiferromagnetischen kollinearen Modell, die des Sr2NiWO6 durch ein antiferromagnetisches nichtkollineares Modell erklaert. Fuer diese Substanzen werden Neeltemperaturen und magnetische Momente bestimmt. Das System Sr2(FeMosub(x)Wsub(1-x))O6 weist zwei magnetische Strukturen auf, die im Phasengebiet 0 < x < 0,3 nebeneinander vorliegen: 1) eine antiferromagnetische wie fuer das Eckglied Sr2FeWO6 und 2) eine ferrimagnetische Struktur wie fuer Sr2FeMoO6.
