Study of Iron Ore and Slag from Basrah Iron Factory

Description
Samples of iron are used in Basrah factory and the slag produced through the are processing are analysed by a sensitive method. Instrumental enutron activation analysis technique has been used for the measurment of the concentrations of eleven elements present in these samples. It is found that the elements W, Sm, La, Mn, Cr, V, Al, and Na are concentrated in the slag while the concentrations of Fe and Ti are lower compared with thier concentrations in iron ore.
