Magnetic resonance studies of superionic conductors. Final report

Description

The research had two goals, both related to using paramagnetic ions to probe the dynamics of anion motion in superionic conductors. The first was to study the effects paramagnetic ions (e.g. Mn2+) have on the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) properties of the diffusing F- ions in PbF2. The second was to study the effects of the diffusion of the F- ions on the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) of the magnetic ions in fluorite structure superionic conductors
