Substructure in nickel under creep in wide temperature and stress ranges

Description

Analysis of fine structure, formed under creep in a wide temperature (400-1000 deg C) and stress (15-280 MPa) ranges has been carried out. It is established, that three ranges singled out in the coordinates σ-ln epsilon sub(y) (where σ-stress, epsilonsub(y)-steady creep rate), differ in the character of dislocation structure (subgrain, cellular, fragmentary). The dislocation structure formed determines the values of activation energy of the steady creep in each range
