Study of acoustic emmission of beryllium depending on grain size
- 1. AN SSSR, Chernogolovka. Inst. Fiziki Tverdogo Tela
Description
The characteristics of acoustic emission (AE) during beryllium plastic deformation depending on the grain size have been investigated. Dependence of total AE on the grain size is shown to have anomaly in the form of maximum in the range of d ∼ 55 μm. Studying AE change dynamics during deformation, one can establish that the obtained dependence of total AE on grain size for beryllium may be represented as superposition of two processes
